Sugar & Spice Nut Blend
Sugar & Spice has been one of our favorite limited-time flavors since we first started creating the recipe in 2018. It tastes and smells like the holidays in a bag but can (and should!) be enjoyed year-round!
The flavor profile of this delightful blend is slightly sweet and enchantingly spiced with warm notes of pink peppercorns, cloves, star of anise, and vanilla.
If the addition of peppercorns sounds odd, it’s important to notes that pink peppercorns aren't actually peppercorns at all! While they look similar in shape and size, they are delicate, dried berries with a fruity, peppery flavor and come from a Peruvian pepper tree. They are sweet with spiciness and flavors of juniper, aniseed, and pine. Pink peppercorns are a vivid pink color, which you’ll see speckled throughout the nut blend.
Sugar & Spice beautifully compliments fruit-based dishes, yogurt, chia pudding, overnight oats, smoothie bowls, desserts, or as a guilt-free treat by the handful! It also makes the easiest spiced crust for any of your favorite pies!
